Updated 1/24/25

The Pilot Project is coming to a pause on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Please earn your incentives by Friday, January 31, 2025. Your earned incentives will not expire. We hope to have this program back at our stores in the future.

Thank you for shopping the CalFresh Fruit & Vegetable EBT Pilot Project!

What is happening?

The CF&V Pilot is pausing soon. CF&V incentives will not be issued after the anticipated end date of January 31, 2025.

What does that mean? What is changing?

If you buy fruits and vegetables at a participating grocery store with your CalFresh dollars, you won’t receive any incentive dollars for that purchase after the end date, you can still use CalFresh benefits as you did before the pilot started.

Why did the program end?

The CF&V Pilot was a limited-term project. The funding to run the pilot has ended sooner than expected.

What happens to the incentive dollars I earned before the program ends?

Any dollars you earn will stay in your account until you spend them. They will stay in your account as long as your regular CalFresh benefits are active.

Will the incentive money I earned be taken back?

No, any money you earned before the end date, will stay on your EBT card until you spend it. The dollars will stay in your account as long as your regular CalFresh benefits are active.
