Exciting news for the toddler years! Researchers found that babies born in December tend to have fewer tantrums throughout their childhoods and later lives than babies born during any other time of the year. A researcher at the Semmelweis University in Budapest surveyed 366 students to find out about their moods and temperaments. It turns out that those born in December appeared to have the most even-keeled dispositions of all.

December babies are the least likely to suffer from major disease.

Some research indicates that babies born in December have the greatest chance of avoiding major diseases such as neurological disease, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and reproductive diseases. Researchers think this could be due to the amount of vitamin D and sunlight that mothers are exposed to during pregnancy in different seasons. Of course, factors such as diet, exercise, genetics, and stress, all play a key role on health.
