Social Distancing Reviews
Changes to our stores have been made. We’d like to review what you should expect when you enter our stores:

  • Maximum number of customers allowed inside: Based on each of the store’s unique dimensions, a maximum number of customers will be allowed into the store at any one time. Each store will have a sign posted outside which will list that store’s maximum capacity. Customers must wait outside outside in the marked spaces and proceed inside when allowed.
  • Face Masks: All Mother’s Nutritional Centers have adopted the State of California’s policy regarding face coverings inside grocery stores. Please understand, to protect other customers and our Team Players’ safety, we require you to wear a mask or face covering. You will not be allowed into the store without face covering in place.
  • Six Foot Distance: Once you enter the store, you will notice the checkout counters have been configured to maintain a distance of 6-feet from where a customer stands and our Team Players. Our Team Players will try to minimize this inconvenience as much as possible.
  • Carry-Out Service: Until further notice, we will not be offering carry-out service.

eWIC Update: The statewide adoption of eWIC has been completed for all of MNC’s stores. Vouchers still in circulation that are marked as valid will still be accepted until they have expired.

App and Phone Orders: With the adoption of eWIC, our app has been suspended because voucher numbers are no longer being created. We are in the process of reviewing the app’s programming to work with eWIC. We will announce when the app is back and available for use. Due to current high demands and to meet the needs of our in-store customers, phone orders are also suspended.

A Special Message Regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19)

To Our Valued Customers,

At Mother’s Nutritional Center, we treat all our Customers like family. And nothing is as important as keeping our families safe and healthy.

We are also keeping those affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) in our thoughts while we closely watch the evolving situation.

In the meantime, I want to inform you of the proactive steps Mother’s Nutritional Center is taking to ensure the safety in our stores across Southern California. We are closely monitoring the directions from all county health departments on how we can effectively comply with their published safety guidelines.

We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our stores. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous.

Here are the steps we’re taking to protect our Customers and Team Players:

In Our Stores

  • Cleaning commonly used areas more often, including checkout counters, PIN pads, and cleaning shelves when restocking products.
  • We are in the process of installing hand sanitizer stations at the entry point to all our store locations.
  • We have increased the frequency of our routine cleaning procedures which includes wiping down shopping carts, baskets and equipment.
  • Following best practices for safe food handling, as always.
  • We have temporarily removed all the Kid’s Corner toy tables from the lobbies of our stores.
  • A vast majority of our produce is pre-packaged reducing the chances of contamination from outside factors like over-handling or touching.

For Our Team Players

  • Encouraging our Team Players to closely monitor their health and well-being.
  • Providing hand sanitizer and tissues in breakrooms.
  • Asking our Team Players to stay home if they, or someone in their household, are sick.

For Our Customers

  • Encouraging our customers to follow the CDC’s suggested hygiene practices to reduce the spread of the virus.
  • Recommending that our customers also practice safe food handling at home.
  • As a reminder, our small specialized stores allow for incredibly short shopping times and fast transactions.

More than ever, we are proud to honor our commitment to cleanliness, so you feel confident shopping with us.
